Lost Connection?

When people open up a business, they need good ideas for a unique name. Some of these ideas can represent the person's characteristics, like's and dislike's, information, and even names from the famous persons from many genres. Do these names really represent their company? or is it just a "name?"

Pandora's Logo
Few companies used names from mythical characters like the Apollo Health and Beauty Care, Ares Sportswear, Nike, Inc, ECHO Incorporated and Pandora. Now Pandora is a international manufacturer where any kinds of jewelries, accessories, and watches were being sold to customers worldwide. Pandora was founded in 1982 by the Danish goldsmith Per Enevoldsen. According to Wikipedia, its products are sold in more than 100 countries on six continents through approximately 8,100 points of sale, including approximately 2,100 concept stores. That's a lot of numbers to take in, but even the Pandora's Box can expanded a larger scale.
Pandora trying to close the box
which was given by Zeus

In the Greek mythology, Zeus told Hephaestus to create Pandora as the first woman on Earth. Pandora received many gifts from the gods and goddesses. According to Hesiod's Works and Days, when Prometheus stole fire from heaven, Zeus strikes back with revenge by presenting Pandora to Prometheus' brother, Epimetheus. Zeus told Epimetheus to marry Pandora. Zeus also sent a little box with a key and warned Epimetheus not to open the box. Pandora, on the other hand, was curious so she insisted Epimetheus to give her the key, but not a single word persuaded Epimetheus. Later that night, Pandora took the key and opened the box. Then every kind of trouble or chaos flew away from the box. Pandora tried to catch single one of them yet none were caught. The last thing which have left the box was no other than "Hope." It was the only thing that kept people coming when trouble starts to tumble them down.

These two insights have two common similarities: it's distribution of items and its determination. But are these two things really represents the company's purpose and value? There's more than just that and that is just the first on the list of five. Now there's a saying, "beauty is in the eyes of a beholder." But beauty won't run that fast and so as its cure.

Apollo
Apollo is one of the most important and complex of the Olympian deities in classical Greek and Roman religion and Greek and Roman mythologyApollo was the son of Zeus and Leto, twin brother of Artemis. He was the god of music, and he is often depicted playing a golden lyre. He was also known as the Archer, far shooting with a silver bow; the god of healing, giving the science of medicine to man; the god of light; and the god of truth. One of Apollo's most important daily tasks was to harness his four-horse chariot, in order to move the Sun across the sky.

He was an oracular god, as he was the prophetic deity in the Oracle in Delphi. People from all over the known world travelled there to learn what the future held for them, through his priestess Pythia.
In the Iliad, Apollo is the healer under the gods, but he is also the bringer of disease and death with his arrows, similar to the function of the Vedic god of disease  He sends a plague to the Achaeans. The god who sends a disease can also prevent it; therefore, when it stops, they make a purifying ceremony and offer him a hecatomb to ward off evil. When the oath of his priest appeases, they pray and with a song they call their own god, the Paean.

Apollo Health and Beauty Care's Logo
In relation to Apollo, there's a famous personal care manufacturer in Canada called Apollo Health and Beauty Care. It is a leading provider of personal care products, and remains the logical choice for customers wishing to purchase high integrity products and unique, proprietary packaging at the most competitive value. It has been Apollo's primary goal to be different from others in the field by embracing the forefront of current trends & innovation for quality products.        Well, any kind of treatment doesn't always end up good because it has its own negative effect in which we'll never know what to expect. So everything has its own advantages and disadvantages, even victories were counted with everything. If I were you, it's better to prevent than to cure, but that doesn't mean you should stop caring about yourself. Always take care of yourself when needed to. Oh, I mentioned victories were counted with everything. Yes, they are counted. Why? Not everyone is happy when they victorious. Victories lack something else. Was it the people who cheered or steered other's felicity? Who knows?

Nike
Speaking of victories, Nike was the goddess of victory in Greek mythology, depicted as having wings, hence her alternative name "Winged Goddess". She was the daughter of the Titan Pallas and the goddess Styx, sister of Kratos, Bia and Zelus. The four siblings were companions of Zeus, and Nike had the role of the divine charioteer, flying above battlefields and giving glory to the victors.

And speaking of victors, Nike, Inc. is an American multinational corporation that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services. The company is headquartered near Beaverton, Oregon, in the Portland metropolitan area. It is one of the world's largest suppliers of athletic shoes and apparel and a major manufacturer of sports equipment, with revenue in excess of US$24.1 billion in its fiscal year 2012 (ending May 31, 2012). As of 2012, it employed more than 44,000 people worldwide. In 2014, the brand alone was valued at $19 billion, making it the most valuable brand among sports businesses.

Nike Inc.'s Logo
According to its environmental record, the New England-based environmental organization Clean Air-Cool Planet stated Nike, Inc ranks among the top three companies (out of 56) in a survey of climate-friendly companies. It has also been praised for its Nike Grind program (which closes the product life cycle) by groups like Climate Counts. One campaign that Nike began for Earth Day 2008 was a commercial that featured basketball star Steve Nash wearing Nike's Trash Talk Shoe, which had been constructed in February 2008 from pieces of leather and synthetic leather waste from factory floors. The Trash Talk Shoe also featured a sole composed of ground-up rubber from a shoe recycling program. Nike claims this is the first performance basketball shoe that has been created from manufacturing waste, but it only produced 5,000 pairs for sale.

Victory doesn't appeared in an instant pace. It needs to be earned so better work hard for it, okay? Sorry about that, its just that I'm mad but I don't know why. Probably I was hungry for last few hours ago. Still, why did I get mad about it, even though it's not necessary?

Ares Sportswear's Logo
There is another company called Ares Sportswear. It has been in the screen-printing and embroidery business for more than 20 years. The owners Mike Leibrand and Mike Campbell went from being the only two employees screen-printing shirts in their apartment to managing 100 employees in 110,000 square feet of office and warehouse space, 16 sportswear catalogs and an e-commerce Web site. Ares now specializes in custom uniforms, warm-ups, sweats, bags, tees and more with screen-printing, embroidery and tackle twill.

It also serves its customers with a technologically advanced Web site. Areswear.com allows customers to create and to customize their own designs in ways not currently possible on the Web and to see what the designs will look like on their T-shirts, sweatshirts, uniforms and more. Close-ups of garment features, real-time price quotes and size charts on the new site also give customers more reasons to choose Ares.

In another time to tell, Ares was the God of War, son of Zeus and Hera, and one of the most prominent and powerful Gods of Olympus. He was born after the Great War of the Gods and Titans and served his father faithfully. He was also a rival of Athena, his younger sister, because they were both gods, one of War the other of Wisdom, and wished that the other stood down. His Roman counterpart was Mars. Mars was held in much higher esteem, second only to Kronos.

Ares
When Ares does appear in myths, he typically faces humiliation. For example, in Iliad, he his father Zeus tells him that he is the god most hateful to him. An association with Ares endows places and objects with a savage, dangerous, or militarized quality. His value as a war god is placed in doubt: during the Trojan War, Ares was on the losing side, while Athena, often depicted in Greek art as holding Nike (Victory) in her hand, favored the triumphant Greeks. He is also well known as the lover of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, who was married to Hephaestus, god of craftsmanship.

When it comes to choices in life, you need think deep because thinking without a thought is just child's play day. There is also limitation in our expectations and decisions. We need to choose not only what's best for us, but also what's best for others. And we're down to the last company on the list, which means that I still got the power for the leaf blower. Wordplay is the best as Power for the test.
ECHO Company's Logo

For more than 40 years, ECHO Incorporated has been a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of professional-grade, hand-held outdoor power equipment for both the commercial and homeowner markets. Today the company sells its products in North America through ten distributors managing 6,600 independent dealers. An additional 24 Latin American distributors sell ECHO products through a variety of channels. ECHO products can be found in Home Depot stores in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. The company prides itself on setting the industry standard with its dedication to new technology, quality products and its strong distribution infrastructure. From establishing technological advancements in premium tools for landscaping and arborist professionals, to expanding its capabilities to meet industrial and consumer demand, ECHO has a heritage rich of accomplishment. Like I said, everything has limitations. We don't need to go with the flow because we'll never might expect to realize what should we be doing at a critical situation. This is what happened to Echo.

Echo watching Narcissus from the bushes
In Greek mythology, Echo was an Oread who resided on Mount Cithaeron. Zeus loved consorting with beautiful nymphs and often visited them on Earth. Eventually, Zeus's wife, Hera, became suspicious, and came from Mt. Olympus in an attempt to catch Zeus with the nymphs. Echo, by trying to protect Zeus, endured Hera's wrath, and Hera made her only able to speak the last few words spoken to her. So when Echo met Narcissus and fell in love with him, she was unable to tell him how she felt and was forced to watch him as he fell in love with himself since he can't resist his own beauty.

The connection between these two? The power to change things when we needed to and power to live longer. Even if there's still no change. This is the final mentioned company for the list of five connections. The question remains: Were these connections share the same ideal for their own benefit? or is it just coincidence? Like I said, there is more than just that.
