The Truth of Doubt

For many years we exist,
People kept relying on others
People who are confident of themselves
That they take the effort away from others
People who promised to make their world
Instead, they make it worse
People are expecting you to do better
But no, they are doubting you
They think that you have no chance on the impossibilities

But if you’re one of the ones who kept doubting others,
You shouldn’t be doubting them
Because each one of us has their own potential to create, decisions
to make and will to live
In the end, you’ll realize that you shouldn’t be doubting them
But you didn’t

Now look at the mirror and ask yourself,
“Should I stop criticizing other people’s work?”
But you rephrase the question without a thought or two
“Am I the fairest of them all?’
No, it’s not
It’s not fair that you kick the ball of an orphan whose parents died on an accident
It’s not fair that you left the elderly at the middle of the road
It’s not fair that the husband cheats behind her wife’s back

What? I’m the one who’s doubting you right now?
I’m not doubting you
Because I’m one of the people who were doubted by others
They think that I was slacking at the couch
No, I wasn’t
I was busy trying to calm myself down from stress
I was busy thinking about the achievements I could’ve unlocked
I was busy loving my one and only to make her safe
DON’T YOU SEE?
The world we lived in is real.
The people we’ve talked about is real
The value we’ve gained is real

You know what? Fine.
Have a good day, sir.
Because you're gonna need it,
I mean REALLY need it.
